PublicationsContemporary ResourcesThere are many current sources of information on The Arts & Crafts Movement. You may find books on the Movement through the Arts and Crafts Society Bookstore, which also includes reprints of a number old publications. Another source is through periodicals offered through the bookstore as well as periodicals, publishers, and small presses listed in our marketplace. Our goal is to make this archive as rich and complete as possible. If you know of a resource that is not listed here, but should be, please let us know. As we find them, we'll be listing them for you to investigate further. Blog of the MonthRead about the trials of restoring a 1923 Minneapolis bungalow: Bungalow '23. More BlogsAnyone who has bought an older house and has started remodeling or restoration will understand exactly what the moneypithouse is about. It's pretty easy to find subjects of interest and the owner's light touch describing the work and various mishaps is fun to read. The blog, 1917 Marsden, is for any homeowner who is trying to turn their old house into a home. In addition to making their incremental improvements, they also have dug into their home's history and the lives of its previous owners. And who doesn't wonder about the people who lived in their house? The Just Art Pottery Blog provides information about buying art pottery from the A&C period to more contemporary Mid-Century pieces. There's a wealth of information for the casual reader or the die-hard collector. The blog for Hewn & Hammered is one of the most interesting A&C blogs we've found. They concentrate on primarily on topics pertaining to remodeling and restoration issues relating to Craftsman, Mission & Prairie homes, as well as general articles on design and architecture.
